Illustrative rendering of JP Aerospace's conceptual "Ascender 6000" airship to orbit (ATO), modeled directly from their own CAD design. Meant to operate at altitudes of over 140,000 feet, this inflatable airship would be over a mile long and utilize plasma rocket engines for propulsion to cruise at the edge of space. While not suitable for flight at low altitudes, I've created a few renders of it at normal airplane altitudes to better showcase the sheer size of this craft.
